Senecio herreianus variegata in Pot
pot size 7cm - commonly known as Variegated String of Pearls, is a stunning trailing succulent with round, bead-like leaves adorned with creamy white, green, and sometimes pinkish hues. This variegation makes it even more striking than the classic green String of Pearls.
Light:
Prefers bright, indirect light. Some direct morning sun helps maintain its variegation, but too much harsh sunlight can scorch the delicate leaves.
Water:
Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering is a common issue that can lead to root rot. Reduce watering in winter when the plant is dormant.
Temperature & Humidity:
Thrives in temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C). Protect from frost; keep above 50°F (10°C). Prefers dry conditions and does not require high humidity.
Soil:
Use a well-draining cactus or succulent mix. You can improve drainage by adding perlite or sand.
